Lawrence Chua

Lawrence Chua is an assistant professor of architectural history in the School of Architecture, Syracuse University. He is currently a scholar in residence at the Getty Research Institute (2020-2021). He has been a research fellow at the International Institute of Asian Studies at the Universiteit Leiden and a Marie S. Curie Fellow at the Freiburg Institute of Advanced Studies at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität. His writing has appeared in the Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians, Journal of Urban History, Journal of Architecture, Oxford Art Journal, and Southeast of Now.
