Anne C Godfrey's writing examines photography's influence on the understanding, valuation and design of landscapes. Godfrey’s Active Landscape Photography: Theoretical Groundwork for Landscape Architecture is the first book dedicated entirely to critical discussion about the daily use of photography within the environmental design disciplines (Routledge 2020).
